General Data Protection Regulation (GDRP)
The GDPR applies to ‘controllers’ and ‘processors,’
In the context of Busy Lives! I am a ‘controller’ in the sense of the information I hold on my clients, and when supporting role for clients a ‘processor’ (meaning that I can take responsibility for the processing of personal data on behalf of a controller). Please refer to the privacy information policy statement for more information on this.

Busy Lives! is registered with the ICO and is on the data protection register reference: ZA454407
Insurance
Busy Lives! Is fully insured for Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Cyber and Drivers Business insurance.
Cyber Essentials
Busy Lives! Has recently achieved the Cyber Essentials government accreditation. For this my business has been assessed against the following five control elements and passed: Secure configuration; boundary firewalls and internet gateways; access control and admin privilege management; patch management; and malware protection. With this in place all clients should be reassured and know that all electronic work assigned is safe and secure. More information on this can be found on the government IASME website.
